To add value for the young mother or father without adding repeating costs, Friso asked VanBerlo for a new baby milk container which can be refilled and sold as a premium. Because of durability and hygiene we designed a lightweight, smooth plastic container. First we analyzed the use of current baby milk packaging and the whole process of making a bottle of baby milk. Based on this research we not only improved general use but also found solutions for repeating annoyances, like where to leave the measure scoop and how to measure exactly. Since low pricing of this container was essential for its success, we recommended Friso to produce it in Asia. Necessary plastic engineering, sourcing of the right production partners and on site production management was done by VanBerlo.
