On the 9th of March the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix has won the ESEF 2010, a prize awarded by the public,  in the category engineering. The FamilyFix is an advanced base to attach a child safety seat in a car.

The uniqueness of the product is its ability to use it for both group 0 (children with an age of 0 to 9 months) as group 1 (children with an age of 9 months to 3,5 years). Since there is no need for a separate base for different chairs anymore,  the usable time life of the product is prolonged. The system is being attached in the car by Isofix-anchorage points. Next to this the parents will be notified by a light and sound display when the child safety seat is attached properly.
