DUTCH DESIGN WEEK 2009 GREAT SUCCESS
At the Dutch Design Week (DDW) event in Eindhoven, VanBerlo really made their mark and demonstrated their capabilities with their ‘Own Work & Own Brand’ range.  Numerous positive comments from visitors meant that VanBerlo’s temporary store illustrated their wide client base, range of services, and how they create the difference.

When a customer brings a product to market, the product has to sell. That is something we understand very well at VanBerlo, which is why we actually sold the products at the DDW. Products we were commissioned to create by our clients, or the products for which we designed the packaging or communications. This made it clear to the DDW visitors that we not only think about design, but also of commerce. 
 
VanBerlo Communications ‘Own Brand’, that was specifically created for the DDW, clearly demonstrated our ability to create brands. Brands that target a specific audience. What we usually do for our customers in practice, was scaled down for the DDW, and with great success! Many chocolate bars, bottles of olive oil and bottles of water were sold. An order of chocolate bars for a complete family meant that they sold out instantly.
 
The DDW was a success not only for VanBerlo. With 40% more visitors than in previous years, the event was, overall very successful. Over the week, 115.000 people visited the various DDW sites.
