The Soup-Server and the 365Soup brands were developed by VanBerlo as a core concept for Vendinova. The project started with a series of strategic workshops to determine the brand identity and Design DNA® for the Soup-Server. Because the concept is based on real, fresh soup, a vision was formulated that focuses on the richness of the soup and the ‘soup moment’. By using real materials and clever design strategies, this vision has been transformed to truly reflect the feel of fresh soup served in a bowl. Branding, packaging and touch screen graphics were created by VanBerlo Communications.
The dispenser is fully IT-driven. This offers many advantages for its operators, because stock and consumption data are handled automatically. The machine automatically orders new soup, based on consumption data from the actual location. Apart from the visual design, VanBerlo was also responsible for the pre-engineering of the machine’s technical structure. The created compact layout has allowed a large freedom of form. The result is a dispenser that is in a category of its own, with a unique identity.
